STREET GOTH

When I met my friend Halil from I AM HIA last week, the first thing he said was literally: ‘You look really different today, I’ve never seen you like this in real life’ …he was talking about my outfit of course! That was the moment when I realized that I got too comfy with my streetwear outfits – outfits that make me look like a man and also make me look like every other girl that is into sneaker.
I even order men shirts and don’t like the girly fits anymore. Does this make me less fashionable or feminine? I don’t think so. I’ve been a tomboy for my whole life, but classy at the same time. Depends on my mood and the occasion I would say. Like who in gods name would wear high heels to get some groceries, you know what I’m sayin?! I have more than one specific style and that’s what makes it fun I guess. It’s nice to play around with clothes and different characters that you could choose to be.
However…sometimes even I get bored of the streetwear  and fall back to my more chic and feminine clothes. Seems like every gurl on earth is a sneakerhead nowadays or looks like she stole her boyfriends shirt. I don’t hate on ’em, but I’m tired of girls n guys that can’t be individual and brave. Find your own style and don’t be a bad copy of a copy, of a copy, of a copy from another copy. Don’t believe the hype and do your own thang! Aight?
