VEGAN OATMEAL RECIPE

What’s cooking?! I’m back with a new thing since a lot of you wanted to know what I eat and how I prep or cook my meals. Guess the time has come. I need to share my secrets haha. So let’s start with the first meal of the day. In my case it’s something healthy, tasty and filling. I just can’t skip breakfast. How am I gonna function, be motivated and fit?! No food, no fun. Make sure to eat. You ain’t doing yourself a favor by skipping meals. Doesn’t matter if you’re trying to lose weight or you’re too stressed because if work/uni/school. There is no beast mode when you don’t feed your body and soul honey. I originally used to eat muesli with yoghurt, oats and fruits, but switched to oeatmeal when days got colder. It’s basically the same thing, just a warm version with no dairy. Oh yeah baby, it’s also vegan when you do it the Silvi way and cook the oats with water. So let’s jump right into it. Every single thing is optionial, even the measurements. It’s just the way how I prefer it.

The base:
35 g oats
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp flexseeds
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
~ 250 ml water

The topping:
1 Banana
~ 10 g cashews
~ 10 g almonds
~ 1 tsp peanut butter
+ more peanut butter for the cracks in your soul and your little broken heart (works magic)

Instructions:
Add the oats, chia seeds, flaxseeds, cinnamon and water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Save some time by using hot water that you boiled for your tea or coffee. Cook it over medium heat for like 10-15 minutes. Stir a few times so the chia seeds won’t clump. Place the mixture into a nice bowl and add your toppings. You’ll never ever skip breakfast after this. Enjoy and don’t forget to send me your pictures.
